Biography

Brian Joyce is a stand up comedian from Boston, Massachusetts. His hobbies include classic American cars, complaining, and working on his hair. Brian's humor ranges from delightfully ridiculous to deliciously subversive. Audiences adore him, particularly drunk married women:

“Your whole set was flawless, how do you do that? When you came outside I was just gobsmacked, I wanted to say hi but I forgot how. When I told my husband about your set, he peed a little.” – Mary, Dublin

Brian's first foray into stand-up came a little over three years ago at an open mike show in his native Boston, Massachusetts. In the short span since, Brian has performed all over the world, including England, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, and the United States. He was one of only 4 Americans invited to perform at the 2006 Comedy on Tap Festival in Ireland, along with Emo Phillips, Arj Barker, and 4-time Perrier Award nominee Reginald D. Hunter. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2006), the Galway Comedy Festival (2006), the Boston Comedy Festival (2005 & 2006), and the Bulmer's International Comedy Festival in Dublin, Ireland (2005). In June 2006 he made his television debut for RTE Television in Ireland, with a special appearance at the “StandUp for Childline” benefit, filmed live in Dublin. He is the comedian of choice for Boston punk rock legends the Dropkick Murphys, and his stand-up has been heard on XM Radio, America's #1 Satellite radio network.
